Jewelry Care & Policies
Jewelry Care
How do I care for my Cosmic Heart Arts Jewelry?
As a general rule of thumb, the better your treat your jewelry, the longer it will last. Please note that some stones, more than others, are more susceptible to breakage. Damage can occur to the stone if it is mishandled, or if it suffers any trauma- is dropped, bumped, etc. Please remember to always remove your jewelry before bathing/showering, swimming, working with harsh soaps, lotions, perfumes, or any chemicals.
Direct sunlight or extreme temperatures can also cause damage to natural stones. Please be aware of this when storing your pieces.
If your piece needs to be cleaned, I recommend using a mild soap with a soft bristle toothbrush.
Sterling silver is a metal that will tarnish and react to its environment. Keeping your silver in an airtight container will help prevent tarnish. Wearing your pieces as much as possible is ideal, as the oils on your skin naturally help prevent tarnish! Polishing occasionally will help remove tarnish. I like to use Sunshine cloths to keep my pieces shiny.
STORE POLICIES
RETURNS
Please remember that jewelry care is the responsibility of the buyer, please take care of your pieces as I cannot be responsible for mishandling.
I do not except returns on custom or altered items.
SHIPPING
I ship out all items as fast as i can- usually 2-4 days, (MTO items require more time; currently 1 - 2 week turn around time).
I will combine multiple orders into the same box. If you need separate boxes please let me know.
If you order a MTO item with a ready to ship item I do ship them together (I try to keep packaging waste to a minimum). If you need the ready to ship item right away, please reach out and let me know.
All orders will be shipped to the address listed on my invoice. Please make sure that this address is correct prior to purchasing. I am not liable for incorrect shipping addresses.
Suncatchers
Suncatchers are fragile and a little more difficult for me to package. I do my best to package them in a way that keeps them safe and sound in their transit to you. Please note I always try to re-use shipping materials to minimize waste, and also package them in a way that is visually pleasing. Always be careful when unwrapping your suncatchers, as items tend to shift in transit.
